Drug Take Back Day

Turn in your unused, unwanted, or expired medications for safe disposal.  The Sanford Police Department and the York County Sheriffs Department will be participating in Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 28th from 10am-2pm.  Please help keep communities safe by bringing prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, veterinary pills, drops, and ointments to one of the following drop off locations:

  • Marden’s Parking Lot and Sanford Police Department
    • Main Street,Sanford
  •  Hannaford Supermarket
    • 20 Sokokis Trail, Waterboro
  • Rite Aid
    • Cornish
  • Goodwin Mills Fire Department
    • Lyman

 This project is anonymous and FREE!  Be sure to remove any personal identifying information from the label! Please no thermometers, batteries, durable medical equipment, intravenous solutions, injectables, or syringes.  Please note that illegal substances are not included in this initiative.
