The Senior Advocate Service is designed to assist seniors, age 60 and over, and those acting on their behalf. It’s offered free of charge to those living in Goodall’s service area. The Senior Advocate has extensive knowledge of the issues facing seniors and can help with assessment of current needs and referrals to existing services. Common types of assistance, in addition to advocacy, may include: Medicare D enrollment; advance directive planning; assistance and education in preventing fraud, exploitation, and abuse; connection to resources for transportation, home health care, meals, etc.
