Goodall Eldercare Services began its mission to provide long-term care and medical services to our senior citizens in 1967, when it was the first in the state to provide skilled care.

We’ve continued to grow and adapt to the needs of our community. In 1997, we opened the Pavilion, one of the leading centers for the care of those with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia. In September of 2000, a partnership between Goodall Hospital and the Sanford Housing Authority yielded Mayﬂower Place, an assisted-living facility for those with low incomes.

The Newton Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care

The Newton Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Care is a 74 bed licensed Medicare and MaineCare certified facility providing high quality care by a dedicated staff. We foster family and community involvement and education. Our program stresses care, compassion, respect, and dignity.

Services provided include: physical, occupational, and speech therapy; wound care; IV therapy; discharge planning; in home visits; skilled nursing care; 24 hour nursing support; extensive activities programs including social, recreational, wellness, fitness, and devotional programs; a restorative nursing program; medication management; and nutrition counseling.

The Pavilion

A specialized residence for people with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia, the Pavilion offers its residents and their families high quality care and many diverse activities.

In addition to residential care, Respite Care is available, and can be daily, for an overnight stay, or longer. All of the services available to our residents are available to our Respite clients.
