Laboratory tests drive a large part of the clinical decisions our doctors make about our health, from diagnosis through therapy and prognosis. Given the crucial role that laboratory test data play in medical decision-making, Goodall Hospital fields and maintains state-of-the-art laboratory services. Our laboratory meets the high standards of COLA certification while completing 95% of test request orders in our own facilities. The remainder are referred primarily to NorDx Laboratories, a subsidiary of Maine Health, located in Scarborough, Maine. What this means is that quality laboratory results are delivered rapidly to our healthcare providers.

Our laboratory uses a variety of methods to test the numerous analyses that are of interest to the medical community. High quality state-of-the-art equipment is operated by highly competent Clinical Laboratory Scientists supported by Phlebotomists and Lab Assistants in order to provide doctors with rapid test results seven days a week.

Goodall also has laboratory services located in Waterboro and in Kennebunk.
