The Women's and Birthing Center at Goodall Hospital features comfortable and well-appointed rooms, a secure setting and experienced physicians and nurses. All of these are key ingredients in creating fond memories of the birth of your infant.
All of our rooms are Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post-Partum care rooms (LDRP), meaning that once you arrive to have your baby you will stay in one place. Our rooms offer the convenience of a TV and DVD, wireless internet access, and accomodations for Dad.
Advances in technology for monitoring the care of mother and infant are evident in all areas of the Center. Fetal monitoring, care documentation, medication administration, and infant monitoring are just a few examples of the state of the art technology that is in place that compliments your care.
The safety of our newborns is of top priority, that is why we have installed the Hugs Infant Protection System in our Women's and Birthing Center. The Hugs System is the most chosen product for infant protection because of its comprehensive security, ease of use through a wealth of automatic features, and wide range of support services and programs.
The Hugs System was purchased and installed with funds made possible by a grant from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation.
