Goodall Hospital has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.
Following its most recent survey, in which more than 1,665 quality and safety standards were reviewed, the Joint Commission has awarded Goodall Hospital full accreditation. In addition, Goodall Hospital has met all of the National Patient Safety Goals.
In addition to being accredited by The Joint Commission, Goodall was awarded their prestigious Top Performer on Key Quality Measures award for 2010, one of only three hospitals in the state of Maine.
Goodall’s total hip and total knee replacement programs received Joint Commission certification in late 2011, making Goodall the only hospital under 150 beds in New England to hold these certifications and one of only four hospitals in the state.
