Ways To Give

There are a variety of ways to contribute to the hospital, outpatient services, patients, and Goodall’s eldercare services.

Annual Fund: This is an ongoing campaign that provides support each year for all areas of the organization.  Unrestricted contributions may be directed immediately to the areas of greatest need.  Contributions may also be designated for a specific department, service or patient assistance fund.  Annual donations are important to provide a consistent income and encourage foundation and corporate support by demonstrating far-reaching community participation.

Honor & Memorial Gifts: This program offers you a special opportunity to honor someone you care about, at any time and for any occasion.  Honor a loved one, a friend or a business associate.  Memorialize any special occasion – birthday, anniversary, promotion or milestone.  Your gift provides a thoughtful and meaningful way to express recognition or sympathy now, and remembrance for future years.

Goodall Cafe Renovations: Goodall is currently collecting funds to remodel the Cafe.  For every $20 donation you make you will receive a free ‘From the Heart of Goodall’ cookbook.

Eldercare Activities: This program benefits residents of Goodall’s eldercare facilities with funds for recreational events and items that are not in the operating budget; such as day trips to go shopping, to a baseball game or a museum, and on-site interactive tools and entertainment.

Senior Advocate: Monies donated to the Senior Advocate Fund assist the elderly in our communities in finding avenues to help them financially and with health care.

GoodAlert Emergency Response System: Funds collected through this program assist with the purchase of GoodAlert equipment and the monthly fee for individuals in need who do not have the financial resources.

The Camisole Project: This program provides camisoles at no cost to mastectomy patients at Goodall Hospital.

Helping Hands Fund: This is an employee assistance fund that provides confidential assistance to Goodall employees who are faced with catastrophic personal or medical situations.

Nursing Education: This fund has been established to assist clinical staff in continuing their education and helps to assist in completing a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.

Renovations: Funds donated to Renovations is used to renovate rooms and/or specific pieces of equipment.

Charity Care: Monies collected through the Charity Care Fund are used to assist patients who are unable to pay their health care bills.

The Pediatrics Project: The Pediatric Team at Goodall Hospital’s role is to foster policy and safety as well as education and resources for our pediatric patients throughout the organization. This multi-disciplinary group also promotes fundraising initiatives to support many aspects of pediatric care. The monies raised through The Pediatrics Project provide children and siblings with toys, games, and activity supplies to help pass the time while obtaining services at the hospital. It also is used to help support equipment purchase/replacement and age appropriate items such as cribs, monitoring devices, and playtime equipment.

Sharp Minds, Strong Bodies: Research shows that stimulating mental activities can shorten recovery time, therefore this program, run by Goodall Volunteers, provides patients with mind stimulating items, such as iPads, word puzzles, and books, to use while staying with us.
