AH! Asthma Education Program
Asthma Health! (AH!) is a program for children and adults with asthma and is designed to increase their knowledge of the disease and to put them on the path to successful daily management. A patient must have a written prescription from their physician to attend. Patients work one-on-one with a Certified Asthma Educator to address most patients’ needs in one two-hour session. Look Good…Feel Better
These group sessions will provide education, information and resources to wormn under-going cancer treatments. Complimentary cosmetics will be distributed and participants will have the opportunity to practice make-up techniques and sample skin care products. In addition, wigs and turbans will be discussed. The Cancer Care Center of York County will be hosing this free program, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, on the last Friday of every month, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. For more details, please call 207.490.7777.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
This program combines exercise with health and lifestyle education to increase self-reliance. Participants meet three times a week for an eight-week session. For more details, please call 207.490.7500.
Heart Watch
This program focuses on comprehensive cardiac care for both surgical and non-surgical patients. Classes are offered in an on-going eight-week series that includes exercise training to improve endurance and education relating to cardiac disease. For more details, please call 207.490.7500
